SBI PO Exam is being conducted on 2nd 3rd and 9th 10th July 2016. Candidates those are appearing in SBI PO exam they will appear in the interview after passing this written test. There are 1200 vacancies in SBI Bank for PO Post for which the bank is conducting the written exam. SBI PO Interview and group discussion will be held for qualified candidates of written exam. Tips For Group Discussion-
Current Affairs- Candidates must have to know current affairs from past three months. Some panels do ask questions based on latest news headlines.
Be a good listener – Train yourself to be a good listener. Be receptive to what others have to say. Give fellow candidates a chance to speak. Respect their view point.
Body Language– Sit straight with a confident posture. Avoid leaning back on to the chair or playing with your pen or your fingers. Make an eye contact with all the participants. Be careful while using gestures and do not get aggressive.
Balanced Tone – The tone of which you speak is very important. Your voice should be clear and audible at the same time. Some people tend to mumble or talk very loudly, avoid both.
Language – Work on your communication skills. You should have a good vocabulary and a decent command over English. Rehearse well with your friends and family much before your actual group discussion round.
Dress – Wear proper formal attire. You must look presentable.
Pen and Notebook – Always carry a pen and a notebook. This will allow you to jot down important points.
Tips for Personal Interview–
Greet the interviewers – Walk in with a smile and do not forget to greet the interviewers before you take your place.
Dress – Dress again would be similar to what you do in group discussion. Keep it formal, you should be clean and shaved.
Documents – Carry all the documents mentioned in your call letter in original and their photocopies too. Also, keep a copy of your resume.
Be honest – If you do not know an answer, tell your interviewers honestly. It is better that you admit something you do not know rather than making up answers, making a fool of yourself.
Always thank the interviewers – Once the interview is over, thank the interviewers for their time and for giving you this opportunity.
